It's Snowing!

Have you ever watched the movie Hook with Robin Williams?  There is a scene in that movie where Peter and his family knock on Wendy's door and Tootles answers.  He opens the door and yells "IT'S SNOWING!" before slamming the door in Peter's face.

That's the exact way that I feel about snow.  I want to slam the door and pretend it's not happening.  It doesn't help to live in the northern part of the country where we get quite a bit of snow.

That's why one of the most important thing's I've learned is that I need to prepare myself for the SNOW and that means preparing my house.  Now that it's winter time, it's time to prep my home.

This weekend we will start with making sure the gutters are cleaned out, the water lines outside of my house are capped, and we insulate any area that might freeze and cause a pipe to burst.
